喷火龙：美国国家安全局中国战略中心标志的主体

　　2023年1月31日，美国国家安全局（NSA）任命了一位官员作为助理副局长，专门负责中国事务，并新建了一个机构：中国战略中心（China Strategy Center）。（https://defensescoop.com/tag/china-strategy-center/）

　　同一天，美国国防部下面的一个机构，发布了中国战略中心的标志。（https://www.dvidshub.net/graphic/28153/nsas-china-strategy-center-logo）

　　它在网页里介绍说：

As the face of the National Security Agency’s newly created China Strategy Center, this logo depicts a stylized fierce fire breathing Chinese dragon within a broken circle. The dragon symbolizes wisdom, strength and hidden knowledge, shown in a profile stance as it emerges upwards from a draped Five-star Red Flag, the national flag of the People's Republic of China. The objective of the circle around the design aims to enclose the dragon but the fire continues to break through the boundary thus remaining a continued challenge. This visual illustrates China's global ability to remain a powerful and formidable opponent to the Nation. This design was created using Adobe Illustrator.

　　谷歌翻译的结果是：“作为国家安全局新成立的中国战略中心的门面，这个标志在一个破碎的圆圈内描绘了一条风格化的凶猛的喷火中国龙。龙象征着智慧、力量和隐藏的知识，以侧面姿态从悬挂的中华人民共和国国旗五星红旗中升起。围绕设计的圆圈的目标是包围龙，但火焰继续突破边界，因此仍然是一个持续的挑战。这一视觉效果说明了中国在全球范围内仍然是国家强大而令人畏惧的对手的能力。此设计是使用 Adobe Illustrator 创建的。”

　　“仍然是国家强大而令人畏惧的对手”，这句话里的国家（the Nation）显然是指美国。

　　中国的龙一般不喷火，画面中的“龙”喷火显然是设计者把杜拉根兽（dragon）的习性移植到了龙身上。介绍中没有直接说中国龙和杜拉根兽一样也是邪恶的，毕竟这是官方的网站，说话比较客气。但是从画面中任何人都能感受到龙的腾腾杀气。
